What is the best way to send orders to Chameleon?
You can fax your orders to: 1-323-724-9048 or they can be e-mailed to: customerservice@chameleonbeverage.com.
The same holds true for any other correspondence relating to a specific order. Please remember to include your P.O. number on any paperwork you send to us.
What is the minimum quantity I can order?
Our catalog minimum is 288 bottles. However, you can order as few as 144 bottles for
a less than minimum charge of $50.00 (v).
Is there a set-up charge?
There is a very low setup cost of $100.00 (v), which includes full color 4/C printing.
How do I get pricing for quantities larger than you offer in the catalog or on the website?
Please contact the sales department with you exact requirements including cap style and we will be happy to quote you on your needs. Also, all quotes are confirmed via either
e-mail or by fax.
Do we need to ship the bottles all at one time?
No. We have a release program where we will print a large number of labels base on your total requirements and drop ship as needed. Once the initial order has been produced, we will need at least 5-7 working days notice for any subsequent releases using the same label. Call our customer service department for more complete details.
How can I check the status of my order?
The best way is to contact our customer service department with your purchase order number and we will be able to tell you exactly where your order stands.
How will I know when my order is completed?
You will receive an invoice on either the day your order has been shipped or the day following shipment. The invoice will be e-mailed to you and a hard copy will also be sent by regular mail.
What is CRV?
California Redemption Value (CRV) is a state requirement on every bottle of water shipped into or within the state of California. The charge is $.05047 per bottle for sizes of 24 ounces or less and $.10047 per bottle for sizes from 25 ounce and up. For water we ship outside of California, there is no CRV required.
What is your standard production time?
Our most popular size is the 16.9 ounce bottle which requires approximately 3 weeks from date of proof approval. Same 3 week period for the 8 ounce and 12 ounce bottles. Allow 5-6 weeks for our specialty Bullet Bottles.
Can you do rush orders and, if so, what is the charge?
Yes, we can accommodate almost any rush request depending on the size of the bottle and the time of the year. The cost depends on a variety of factors so please contact your customer service rep for exact details.
Do you acknowledge orders?
Yes. All orders are acknowledged with every detail and cost involved in your order including all shipping information and then e-mailed or faxed directly to you. This is done at the same time your order is entered and processed into our system.
Is there a charge if the order has to be cancelled?
If there has been any work done on the order, such as a proof produced or the printing of labels, there will be a cancellation charge. If your order has not yet gone to the art department, there will be no cancellation charge.

Where do you ship from?
We have a west coast F.O.B. point in Los Angeles, CA. We are actively seeking new locations in different parts of the country that are reliable and have an understanding of our industry.
Once my order has shipped, will I be able to track its progress to the final destination?
We will make all tracking numbers available through our website. You will be given a unique user name and password as part of your acknowledgement that you can use to access your shipment.
Can we use our own freight company or do we need to use whoever you specify?
You can absolutely use a carrier of your own choice. We will require a copy of their bill of lading and a contact name and phone number at the freight company.
Can you ship using UPS or FedEx?
We can, although we are usually very reluctant to do so. It is generally much more costly to ship via these methods and often results in a greater degree of damage than palletizing the cases and using a common carrier. If you or your client absolutely requires us to ship through UPS or FedEx, we will need an account number to use and a letter from the owner of that number authorizing us to use it. What if there is damage to shipment when it arrives at its destination?
All claims for damaged merchandise must be made by the consignee against the freight company. Chameleon will assist any way we can but the responsibility rests with the recipient.
